Having not organised any accommodation before arriving, we spent an hour or so chilling out at the Vienna airport using the free internet to find a cheap (last minute style) hotel. Being not overly interested in getting anything "traditional", we settled on the Austria Trend Eventhotel Pyramide... which basically looks like something straight out of Vegas.
So we have had a short snooze and now we are going to head off to the a shopping mall that claims to be the biggest in Europe. We might even then consider doing some sightseeing... but then again we might just chill out at the hotel by the pool.
Tomorrow we are hiring a car and going to spend the day cruising around Austria.
