Earth Hour is a Leo Burnett initiative that has been supported by Fairfax Digital and WWF (2 of our clients). Basically the idea is to build awareness of global warning, so they are encouraging people and businesses around Sydney to turn their lights off for an hour at 7.30pm on 31 March. Heaps of companies have already committed to it. So hopefully Sydney is going to be nice an dark. Link.

ahhhhhh, won't it be still light at 7:30pm on that date?
Great iniative, maybe 8:30 is a better time! A bit late now to suggest it I guess :)
- it could be such a hit we could all spend several liters of benzene driving around just looking at the darkness.
